Chandhanapoonthennal is a malayalam song in the movie naalumanipookkal. K. S. Gopalakrishnan directed and T. R. Srinivasan produced Naalumanippookkal, a 1978 Indian Malayalam film. Madhu, Sreedevi, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Adoor Bhasi Pattom Sadan, and M. G. Soman play the leading roles in the film. G. Devarajan composed the film's soundtrack. the lyrics were written by Bichu Thirumala. The lyrics were written by Bichu Thirumala. He is credited with inventing the Malayalam cinema song approach of arranging lovely lines. Bichu Thirumala was the leader of a group of lyricists in Malayalam film who penned songs for pre-recorded music. The song was sung by P. Susheela.
