Centrifugal Force & Unit

A force that acts outwards of a body revolving in a circle is called Centrifugal force. It is the tendency of an object following a curved path to fly away from the centre of curvature. It is the apparent outward force on a mass when it is rotated. It does not exist when a system is described relative to an inertial frame of reference. It depends on the position, so it is a conservative force. Centrifugal force is the force which helps to separate cream from the milk. Working of washing machine is another example for application of Centrifugal force. It is a vector quantity. It is equal to the product of mass and Centrifugal acceleration of the body.
