To design a logo or a certificate in an artistic handwriting by using a brush or pen, is then called calligraphy. It was originated in China. Any person with a good script can be a great calligrapher. The way of crafting differs with people. Idiomatic representations in the form of alphabets or numbers can make beautiful and distinct designs. Always make use of a chisel nib and the tips should be wedge shaped. More importantly, the angle we use to make the handwriting worked on to the paper is to be carefully checked. Proportional letters are to be made and do check the effects achieved with letter spacing and heightening. Practice makes the art gradationally perfect, each time when you try doing it. There are mainly three types: Arabic, western and oriental. Also, they can be classified into broad edge, traditional pointed, faux, brush pen and modern pointed pen based on the tool used to design.
