Business ethics examines the ethical principles and moral or ethical problems that can arise in a business environment. These ethics originate from individuals, organizational statements or the legal system. These norms, values, ethical, and unethical practices are the principles that guide a business. It refers to implementing appropriate business policies and practices with regard to arguably controversial subjects. Some issues that come up in a discussion of ethics include corporate governance, insider trading, bribery, discrimination, social responsibility, and fiduciary responsibilities. The advantages of ethical behavior in business include helping the business to build customer loyalty, avoid legal problems and attract and retain talented employees. Some of the basic business ethics are transparency, integrity, trustworthiness, loyalty, equality, compassion, respect, lawfulness etc.
