Bullying

Bullying is defined as the abuse, aggressive dominance, or intimidation of others through the use of force, coercion, hurtful teasing, or threat. The action is frequently repeated and habitual. One essential prerequisite is the perception (by the bully or others) of a physical or social power imbalance. This disparity separates bullying from conflict. Bullying is a subcategory of aggressive behaviour defined by the three criteria listed below: (1) hostile intent, (2) power imbalance, and (3) repetition over time It is the repeated, aggressive behaviour intended to harm another person physically, mentally, or emotionally.
