Method used by design teams to resolve the design problems. It’s a technique used in ideation phase for getting expanded in all possible directions for idea. A large number of ideas can be obtained rather than sticking on to the conventional ones. The target problem should be well known to all the team members and the brainstorming session should be with a mix of participants. This can broaden the idea. The eight house rules that every team member should follow to improve their designing are set a timer and begin with discussing the target problem. Have a positive attitude towards every idea and also encourage wacky and weird ideas. At first the aim should be having more numbers of creation rather than the quality. Frame from others' thought and stay visual. Allow single conversation at a time and give time for everyone in the team. For concrete results, respecting every other’s thinking is important.
