Presentations | English

Bootstrap is an HTML, CSS and JS Library that focuses on simplifying the development of informative web pages (as opposed to web apps). The primary purpose of adding it to a web project is to apply Bootstrap’s choices of colour, size, font and layout to that project. Bootstrap is a free and open source front end development framework for the creation of websites and web apps. In computers, the word bootstrap means to boot to load a program into a computer using a much smaller initial program to load in the desired program (which is usually an operating system). They provide additional user interface elements such as dialog boxes, tooltips and carousels. Bootstrap is a free and open-source CSS framework directed at responsive, mobile-first front-end web development. It contains CSS and sometimes, JavaScript-based design templates for typography, forms, buttons, navigation and other interface components. The most prominent components of Bootstrap are its layout components, as they affect an entire web page.
