Is a statistical analysis of data belonging to living organisms? It’s the science of compiling data of biological events mathematically. Used mainly to check between two populations whether real or occurred by chance. Evaluation of efficiency of vaccines, measuring mortality and morbidity, checking the achievements of public health events etc are some other uses of biostatistics. These data could be collected from experiments, surveys, records and also from the investigator himself or from hospital. Primary data can be obtained directly through personal interviews, oral health examination or questionnaire method. Data presentation are mainly by tabulation or graphical representation. Bar chart, pie chart, line diagram, histogram are some types of graphs. In modern medicine, the topic is everything from analysis to determining about the output of a vaccine and necessity of clinical trials.
