The Bhagawat Gita, otherwise known as “The Song of the Lord” is a holy book which revolves mainly around the themes of wisdom, works and love, recited by the Lord Krishna to the Pandava Prince Arjuna in Sanskrit. The book is a part of the larger epic of Mahabharata and reveals many truths in the forms of quotes that ultimately point to the many paths of spirituality. The Bhagawat Gita quotes, believed to have been written in the 1st millennium BCE, have proven to be enlightened guidelines to life over the centuries and are still followed by many believers.
