The song was sung by S. Janaki. The film released under the banner of Rani Films was produced by Vasu Menon. The story, screenplay, and dialogues were by TN Gopinathan Nair. The film shot extensively in Vasu Studios was distributed by Bharati Pictures. The film was released in theatres across Kerala on October 19, 1967.
