"At-Tur or ""The Mountain"" is the fifty second Surah in the Holy Book of Quran. The name was derived from the very first verse of the Surah, where there is a mention of the Mountain Tur. The mountain is recognised for the place where God takes an oath by. It comprises of a total of 49 verses divided into 2 Rukus or Sections. It was revealed in Mecca, approximately around the same time as that of Surah Adh-Dhariyat and Surah Qaf, thus making it a Meccan Surah. It was also 3 to 5 years after Prophet Muhammad announced his prophethood. Surah At-Tur focus on the subject of the the Last Day and the Day of Judgement. It challenges the disbelievers to produce a similar Book of that of Quran. The ones who rejected it are admonished and repeatedly warned for ignoring and rejecting the message of God."
