At-Tawba or The Repentance is the ninth chapter of the Holy book of Quran. Comprising of a total of 129 verses, divided into 16 Rukus or Sections. This Surah is a median Surah and is one of the last ones. It is said to be revealed during the time of the Battle of Tabuk. This is the Surah and the only one that does not begin with ‘Bismillah’ in the Quran. In this chapter, the principles of war and of peace are deeply emphasized, which is the primary background. It also contains heavy messages that challenges the people and their belief. It acts as a reminder that worshipping and loving Allah and His Messenger must always be priority for a community who follows the beliefs of Islam. Towards the conclusion, the chapter describes important qualities required in an ideal believer.
