"The eighty first chapter or Surah in the Holy Book of Quran is titled At-Takwir or ""The Enfolding"". The title was derived from the very first verse in the Surah and it consists of a total of 29 verses (ayah). The chapter is believed to have made its revelation during the Meccan period, towards the earlier days of Muhammad's proclamation of his prophethood. The main subject of focus in the 81st Surah is of the Hereafter, the Last Day, Prophethood and the institution that it is. It depicts the events and happenings of the Last Day and intricately delves into it. It talks about how every being in the Universe will stop functioning as one knows it.
