"The sixty sixth chapter or Surah is titled At-Tahrim or ""Forbiddance/Prohibition"". The Surah's title was derived from the very first verse in itself. It comprises a total of 12 verses (ayah) which are again divided into 2 Rukus or Sections. It is broadly believed that the chapter made its revelation in Madina around the period after 7 to 8 years after Hijrah, 629-630 AD. The 66th Surah addresses an incident or event that took place between Prophet Muhammad and his wives. The contents and it's traditions in its actuality are still under discussion and scrutiny and is thus uncertain. Some claim it to be about the Prophet's Oath regarding Honey while some say that it was a chain of events between the wives and the Prophet regarding a certain matter.
