At a Restaurant Vocabulary - 01

Images | English

You most likely look forward to visiting a restaurant in your hometown. Food, drinks, a good time with friends and family. What's not to love about this? However, when you visit a restaurant where you must communicate in a foreign language, the situation shifts from relaxing to taxing. You must learn English food vocabulary. You must read the menu and order your food in English. You may even need to converse with an English-speaking dining companion. That's a lot to handle. Don’t worry. If you learn restaurant English conversations one at a time, you'll realise it's not as difficult as you once thought. For example fast food restaurants have a completely different vocabulary from a more elite restaurant where formal etiquette is needed.
