"The thirtieth chapter or Surah in the Holy Book of Quran is titled Ar-Rum or ""Romans"". The title was derived from the 2nd verse where ""Ar-Rum"" has been mentioned. It comprises of a total of 60 verses (ayah), which are divided into 6 Rukus or Sections. This Surah was revealed at the same time as Surah Taha, similarly, before the migration of Prophet Muhammad to Madina, in Mecca. Similarly, this was the period of time around when the people who opposed from the Meccans turned their accusations and verbal disagreements to physical imposed restrictions and bans. The thirtieth Surah thus initiates the subject matter by speaking of a prediction that says that the Romans will emerge the winners and the successful ones even though they were defeated. Not only this but the Surah presents with a total of three predictions; it was fulfilled in only a short time period of 10 to 12 years."
