Actor Madhu was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2013. Actor Balan K Nair won the National Film Award for Best Actor in 1981.
1979ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ അനുഭവങ്ങളേ നന്ദി എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു ഗാനമാണ് “അനുഭവങ്ങളെ നന്ദി നന്ദി”. യൂസഫലി കേച്ചേരി എഴുതി ജി ദേവരാജനാണ് ഈ ഗാനം ഒരുക്കിയത്. കെ ജെ യേശുദാസാണ് ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത്. ചലച്ചിത്ര അഭിനേതാക്കളായ മധു, ജയഭാരതി, ശങ്കരാടി, ബാലൻ കെ.നായർ എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്. ഐ വി ശശിയാണ് ഈ ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത്. നടൻ മധുവിന് 2013 ൽ ഇന്ത്യാ ഗവൺമെന്റ് പത്മശ്രീ നൽകി ആദരിച്ചു. നടൻ ബാലൻ കെ നായർ 1981-ൽ മികച്ച നടനുള്ള ദേശീയ ചലച്ചിത്ര പുരസ്കാരം നേടി.
