"An antidote is a drug, or a chemical that neutralizes the effects of another drug or a poison. We have heard about antidote mainly in case of poisoning. There are different types of antidotes; however, some antidotes may counteract only one particular drug, at the same time antidotes such as charcoal may help reduce the toxicity of numerous drugs/poison/toxins. for snake bite antidote depends on the kind of snake, the antidote for snake bite is not universal. Antidotes are not always 100% effective. Fatalities may occur even when after administering an antidote.
