Anjanakkulir neelakalppadaveri varum is a song from the drama Muthuchippi. G Devarajan composed it's music and the lyrics written by O N V Kurup. Experimental theatre became popular in the 1970s. The fundamental goal of this movement was to provide theoretical and practical assistance to theatrical artists in order to help them develop in the right direction. At the end of the 1960s, a new form of theatre known as Thanathu Nataka Vedi began to emerge (Indigenous Theatre). It was centred on rejecting western theatre influences and adopting more of Kerala's traditional theatre traditions. In the 1970s, this theatrical style became popular. Plays and playwrights were a constant presence in people's lives until the 1970s, and performance patterns changed constantly. Since then, however, the rise of theatre has slowed. Nonetheless, theatre is a kind of art that is unlikely to die out. Many new writers analysed, criticised, and supported scholarly experimentation in theatre during the 1980s and 1990s.
