"Anjana kanna va va is a hindu devotuonal song. A hymn that accompanies religious observances and rites is known as a devotional song. Traditionally, Hindu music, Jewish music, Buddhist music, Sufi music, Islamic music, and Christian music all included devotional music. Each major faith has its own devotional hymn tradition. Since their early days in the West, the devotional has been an element of the liturgy in Roman Catholicism, the Greek Orthodox Church, the Russian Orthodox Church, and others. A devotional is an integral part of the prayer session and is not adornment in these instances. Church music was a contentious topic throughout the Protestant Reformation. Some Puritans despised any decoration and wanted to ban choirs, hymns, and devotionals, since liturgy was rejected as a whole."
