Animal Classification

Presentations | English

Animals (also called Metazoa) are multicellular, eukaryotic organisms in the biological kingdom Animalia. Animal kingdom classification is an important system for understanding how all living organisms are related. Based on the Linnaeus method, species are arranged grouped based on shared characteristics. All animals share basic traits. But animals also show a lot of diversity. They range from simple sponges to complex humans. Members of the animal kingdom are divided into more than 30 phyla. The presentation provides better understanding on the topic.
