"Understanding how computers work is one thing while knowing their origin and where they started off from is something else. Analog computers were the first type of computer to come into being. They were designed and structured with various different technical elements such as gears and levers which were not electronic parts of it. it worked on them and gave results or outputs much slower than today. Data was used in continuous form which were also changeable. This type of computers could store not digital but analog data in the form of continuous physical quantities such as fluid pressure and more and later produced data with the help of measures. Functions were also limited. It benefited highly when processing of sent data was not required and instead only needed number outputs. "
