Ammathan omalkkinave is a malayalam song that was featured in the play Kadannalkkoodu. G Devarajan master composed the music and lyrics written by O N V Kurup. ONV was a Malayalam poet and lyricist who in 2007 received the Jnanpith Award, India's highest literary honour. In 1998, he was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian honour, and in 2011, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian honour. He was a part of numerous productions produced by the Kerala People's Arts Club (KPAC), which had a significant impact on Kerala's revolutionary movements. He worked in the film industry till his death. He has written over 1000 songs for over 232 films, as well as many music for plays and albums. കടന്നൽക്കൂട് എന്ന നാടകത്തിലെ ഒരു മലയാളം ഗാനമാണ്"അമ്മതൻ ഓമൽ കിനാവെ". ഒ എൻ വി കുറുപ്പ് എഴുതിയ വരികൾക്ക് ജി ദേവരാജൻ മാസ്റ്ററാണ് സംഗീതം നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. 2007-ൽ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പരമോന്നത സാഹിത്യ ബഹുമതിയായ ജ്ഞാനപീഠ പുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ച മലയാള കവിയും ഗാനരചയിതാവുമാണ് ഒഎൻവി. 1998-ൽ, ഇന്ത്യയിലെ നാലാമത്തെ പരമോന്നത സിവിലിയൻ ബഹുമതിയായ പത്മശ്രീയും, 2011-ൽ, ഇന്ത്യയിലെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഉയർന്ന സിവിലിയൻ ബഹുമതിയായ പത്മവിഭൂഷണും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ലഭിച്ചു. കേരളത്തിന്റെ വിപ്ലവ പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ കാര്യമായ സ്വാധീനം ചെലുത്തിയ കേരള പീപ്പിൾസ് ആർട്സ് ക്ലബ് (കെപിഎസി) നിർമ്മിച്ച നിരവധി പ്രൊഡക്ഷനുകളുടെ ഭാഗമായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. മരണം വരെ സിനിമാ മേഖലയിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു. 232-ലധികം സിനിമകൾക്കായി 1000-ലധികം ഗാനങ്ങൾ അദ്ദേഹം എഴുതിയിട്ടുണ്ട്, കൂടാതെ നാടകങ്ങൾക്കും ആൽബങ്ങൾക്കും നിരവധി സംഗീതം നൽകി. അമ്മയുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ നിന്നും ഉദിക്കുന്ന ഒരു താരാട്ടു പാട്ടാണ് ഇതിലൂടെ കാണാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നത്.
