Amma arival adimatham is a song that was featured in the malayalam drama Jatha vedasse mizhithurakkoo. Pirappancod Murali wrote the lyrics and G Devarajan master composed it's music. P Madhuri and Chorus sung the song. P. Madhuri is a playback singer from South India. She has performed Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu songs. She's received the Kerala State Film Award for best playback singer on two occasions. She primarily performs Malayalam songs. She was probably the fourth most popular female singer in Malayalam in the 1970s, after S. Janaki, P. Susheela, and P Leela, and sang mostly G. Devarajan Master's songs. She has sung 552 Malayalam songs, the majority of which are under the direction of G. Devarajan. This is a Malayalam film industry record that no other female singer can match. She has a number of folk songs, comic songs, classical songs, devotional songs, romance songs, and sorrowful songs to her credit, but it was her ability to sing in high pitches that made her famous.
ജാത വേദസ്സെ മിഴിത്തുറക്കൂ എന്ന മലയാള നാടകത്തിൽ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച ഗാനമാണ്"അമ്മ അരിവാൾ അടിമത്തം". പിരപ്പൻകോട് മുരളിയുടെ വരികൾക്ക് ജി ദേവരാജൻ മാസ്റ്റർ സംഗീതം പകർന്നു. പി മാധുരിയും കോറസും ചേർന്നാണ് ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത്. ദക്ഷിണേന്ത്യയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള പിന്നണി ഗായികയാണ് പി.മാധുരി. മലയാളം, തമിഴ്, തെലുങ്ക് ഗാനങ്ങൾ അവർ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. മികച്ച പിന്നണി ഗായികയ്ക്കുള്ള കേരള സംസ്ഥാന ചലച്ചിത്ര അവാർഡ് രണ്ട് തവണ അവർക്ക് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അവർ പ്രധാനമായും മലയാളം ഗാനങ്ങൾ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. എസ് ജാനകി, പി സുശീല, പി ലീല എന്നിവർക്ക് ശേഷം 1970 കളിൽ മലയാളത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും ജനപ്രിയമായ നാലാമത്തെ ഗായികയായിരുന്നു അവർ, കൂടുതലും ജി.ദേവരാജൻ മാസ്റ്ററുടെ ഗാനങ്ങൾ ആലപിച്ചു. 552 മലയാളം ഗാനങ്ങൾ അവർ ആലപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്, അതിൽ ഭൂരിഭാഗവും ജി.ദേവരാജന്റെ കീഴിലാണ്. മറ്റൊരു വനിതാ ഗായികയ്ക്കും ഒപ്പമെത്താൻ കഴിയാത്ത മലയാളം സിനിമാലോകത്തെ റെക്കോർഡാണിത്. നാടൻ പാട്ടുകൾ, ഹാസ്യഗാനങ്ങൾ, ശാസ്ത്രീയ ഗാനങ്ങൾ, ഭക്തിഗാനങ്ങൾ, പ്രണയഗാനങ്ങൾ, ദു:ഖഗാനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ അവരുടെ ക്രെഡിറ്റിൽ ഉണ്ട്, പക്ഷേ ഉയർന്ന പിച്ചുകളിൽ പാടാനുള്ള അവരുടെ കഴിവാണ് അവരെ പ്രശസ്തയാക്കിയത്.
