Ambient Intelligence, or AML, is the capacity of technology to make judgments and act on our behalf while taking into account our preferences based on data accessible to it from all connected sensors and devices surrounding the user. AML is ubiquitous, intelligent, and intuitive. It does not ask the user questions, but rather understands the user context. It does not make itself known, but instead takes action according on the user's preferences. AmI is a new technology that has the potential to drastically alter how we connect with machines and objects around us. Ambient intelligence (AML) symbolizes the future vision of intelligent computing in which explicit input and output devices are not necessary; instead, sensors and processors will be integrated in daily gadgets, and the environment would smoothly adapt to the user's requirements and preferences.
