Aaluvaappuzhayil Meen is a song from the movie Kasavuthattam which is a 1967 Indian Malayalam film, directed and produced by Kunchacko. P. Susheela performed this song. The music was composed by G. Devarajan and the lyrics were written by Vayalar Ramavarma. Vayalar Ramavarma was a Malayalam poet and lyricist. His collaborations with G. Devarajan ushered in a golden era of Malayalam film music, and many of the songs they wrote and composed are still considered timeless classics in the language. Ramavarma is regarded as one of Malayalam cinema's most successful and critically acclaimed lyricists.
കുഞ്ചാക്കോ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് നിർമ്മിച്ച 1967 ലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ മലയാളം ചിത്രമായ കസവുതട്ടം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു ഗാനമാണ്"ആലുവാപ്പുഴയിൽ മീൻ". പി.സുശീലയാണ് ഈ ഗാനം അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്. വയലാർ രാമവർമ എഴുതിയ വരികൾക്ക് സംഗീതം നൽകിയത് ജി.ദേവരാജനാണ്. മലയാളത്തിലെ ഒരു കവിയും ഗാനരചയിതാവുമായിരുന്നു വയലാർ രാമവർമ. ജി.ദേവരാജനുമായുള്ള അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സഹകരണം മലയാള ചലച്ചിത്ര സംഗീതത്തിന്റെ ഒരു സുവർണ്ണ കാലഘട്ടത്തിന് തുടക്കമിട്ടു, അവർ രചിച്ചതും സംഗീതം നൽകിയതുമായ പല ഗാനങ്ങളും ഇന്നും ഭാഷയിൽ കാലാതീതമായ ക്ലാസിക്കുകളായി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. മലയാള സിനിമയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വിജയകരവും നിരൂപക പ്രശംസ നേടിയതുമായ ഗാനരചയിതാക്കളിൽ ഒരാളായാണ് രാമവർമ കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്.
