“Muthuchippi” is a very famous play, which was staged by Kalidasa Kendra professional drama theatre. The song which begins with “Allimalar kaavinullilenikkoru” was written by the Malayalam poet O.N.V. Kurup from Kerala. He was the one who won Jnanpith Award, the highest literary award in India for the year 2007. Whereas this song was composed by G. Devarajan, who had scored music for more than three hundred Malayalam films, and many dramas.
കാളിദാസ കേന്ദ്ര പ്രൊഫഷണൽ നാടക തിയേറ്റർ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച വളരെ പ്രശസ്തമായ നാടകമാണ് “മുത്തുച്ചിപ്പി”."അല്ലിമലർ കാവിനുള്ളിലേനിക്കൊരു" എന്ന് തുടങ്ങുന്ന ഗാനം എഴുതിയത് കേരളത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള മലയാള കവി ഒ.എൻ.വി. കുറുപ്പാണ്. 2007-ലെ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പരമോന്നത സാഹിത്യപുരസ്കാരമായ ജ്ഞാനപീഠ പുരസ്കാരം നേടിയത് അദ്ദേഹമാണ്. ഈ ഗാനം രചിച്ചത് മുന്നൂറിലധികം മലയാള സിനിമകൾക്കും നിരവധി നാടകങ്ങൾക്കും സംഗീതം നൽകിയിട്ടുള്ള ജി. ദേവരാജനാണ്.
