"Surah Al-Waqia or ""The Inevitable"" is the fifty sixth chapter in the Holy Book of Quran. The name was derived from the very first verse in the chapter. It comprises a total of 96 verses (ayah) divided into 3 Rukus or Sections. The Surah addresses the events of the Day of Judgement in detail. Like the fifty fifth Surah, the time of revelation of Surah Al-Waqia is uncertain. While certain group of believers claim it to have been revealed in Mecca, some firmly believe it's revelation to have been in Madina, or at least a part of it. Surah Al-Waqia delves into the intricate details and advices regarding the Last Day. It is said that humankind would be categorised into groups of three, each with its own characteristics. This Surah is one of the most read and recited once for it is believed that the one who recites this would not suffer or have to go through poverty or any hardships."
