"The 114th chapter or Surah in the Holy Book of Quran is titled Al-Nas or ""Mankind"". The title was derived from the verses 1 to 3, where there is a mention of the word 'Nas'. It only consists of a total of 6 verses (ayah) and the chapter is believed to have made its revealation in Mecca, around the earlier period of Prophet Muhammad's proclamation of his prophethood. Although primarily belived so, some consider it to have been revealed in Madina. This Surah is the final chapter in the Holy Book of Quran, hence, this chapter and the previous chapter, Surah Al-Falaq, are referred to as ""Muawwidhatayn"" which gives the meaning - 'the two with which refuge has been sought', in Arabic. While the previous chapter addresses seeking refuge in God, away from the evil sense of every creation in the Universe, the final chapter discusses the refuge from God away from the evil of conspiracies of all creations. It is also said that the last two chapters were revealed together. Click on the audio, now!"
