"The seventy seventh chapter or Surah in the Holy Book of Quran is titled Al-Mursalat or ""Those Sent Forth"". The title name of the chapter was derived from the very first verse. It comprises a total of 50 verses (ayah) which are divided into 2 Rukus or Sections. The 77th Surah also amongst the Surahs which are believed to have been made its revealation during the Meccan period, towards the earlier days of Muhammad's proclamation of his prophethood. Surah Al-Mursalat expresses how the ones who ignore and reject the truth finally would only find and reach destruction. Through the chapter, Surah Al-Mursalat, the doctrines of resurrection asserted and at the same time, the people who fail to understand and recognise the value and importance and hence reject the messages are warned of its consequences."
