"Surah Al-Mujadila or ""She who Disputes"" is the fifty eighth chapter in the Holy Book of Quran. Title derived from the very first and second verses of the Surah, it has also be titled ""Zihar"". It comprises a total of 22 verses (ayah) divided into 3 Rukus or Sections. The Surah was revealed around the time of the The Battle of Trench. Surah Al-Mujadila discusses and holds the primary subject background of that of a woman who pleads and argues with Prophet Muhammad, to help her find a solution from her husband who had left and oppressed her through the old tradition of 'zihar' (hence the title of the Surah). It has been believed that the Surah was thus revealed as a response to the woman's plea. Although the prophet did not agree to it in the beginning, although it is regarded that he soon received God's message and thus the first few verses of the very Surah depicts that the God was listening and that He heard her prayers."
