"The 108th chapter or Surah in the Holy Book of Quran is titled Al-Kawthar or ""Abundance"" and this chapter is the shortest chapter in it. The title name was derived from the first verse in the Surah, where there is a mention of the word 'Kawthar'. It only consists a total of 3, verses (ayah). Regarding the time and location of its revealation, there are many opinions on it. While some say that it made its revealation in Mecca, some say it was made in Madina. Much ike two of the previous Surahs, this chapter addresses the comfort given to Prophet Muhammad at the time when he thought he was forgotten by God.
