"The seventy second chapter or Surah in the Holy Book of Quran is titled Al-Jinn or ""The Jinn"". The entire Surah addresses the event of when a party of Jinn discusses between themselves regarding The Quran and it's existence after they came to know about it and hence the title is based on the same. It comprises of 28 verses (ayah) which are again divided into 2 Rukus or Sections. It is believed to have been made its revealation during the Meccan period, towards the earlier days of Muhammad's proclamation of his prophethood. The Jinn are entities invisible to the naked eye, similarly to how angels are regarded of. It is broadly believed that the Jinn are created from the smokeless flames of fire while humans are said to be created from dust, according to the Quran scriptures. The first half discusses about the party of Jinn and their interpretation of the newly discovered Quran. The Surah gives an idea about how the Quran sounds like to individuals from a different world"
