"The 17th Surah in the Holy Book of Quran is Al-Isra. The name of it is derived from the very first verse which addresses the events of Isra, which is in Islamic values and tradition the transportation of Muhammad from the Great Mosque of Mecca to the ""the farthest Mosque"". This Surah makes reference to other Prophets as well. It has a total of 111 verses (ayah) divided into 12 Rukus or Sections and is believed to be made its revelation during the last period of the Mecca. It can be interpreted that this Surah was therefore revealed during a period of time where it was persecution and havoc. This is also the time when Allah put love of the Prophet's into the hearts of the people of Madina who accepted and belived in Islam and also were ready to invite Prophet into Madina."
