"The 105th chapter or Surah in the Holy Book of Quran is titled Al-Fil or ""The Elephant"". The title name was derived from the very first verse in the Surah, where there is a mention of the word 'Fil'. It only consists a total of 5 verses (ayah). The chapter is believed to have been revealed in Mecca, around the earlier period of Muhammad's proclamation of his prophethood. The chapter thoroughly only discusses about a perticular incident, which is more than just a happening as it is widely considered as a much important historical event, that took place during the time. The significance of the title stems from the fact that it also refers to the year in which Prophet Muhammad was born. It speaks of how the Kaabah was attacked and destroyed by the army of Abraha.
