"The thirty third chapter or Surah in the Holy Book of Quran is titled Al-Ahzab or ""The Confederates"". The title of the Surah is derived from the its 20th verse. It comprises of a total of 73 verses (ayah) which are divided into 9 Rukus or Sections. This chapter in the Quran was revealed soon after the Battle of Trench, in Madina. It speaks about the three primary matters, which are, the Battle of Trench (in order to remind the believers of the power that is Allah and His mercy), the Battle of Bani Quraizah as well as the marriage of Prophet Muhammad's with Zainab, who was the wife to his adopted son (Zyed). The Surah also discusses subjects regarding the appropriate treatment of the Prophet and his wives as well. The rules, regulations and guidelines are scripted in detail for the believers to follow in this Surah."
