"The forty sixth Surah is titled Al-Ahqaf or ""The Sand Dunes"". The title was derived from the 21st verse. It comprises of a total of 35 verses (ayah) which are divided into 4 Rukus or Sections. The Surah is believed to have been made its revelation during the Meccan period of time where the Prophet resided after his prophethood proclamation. Surah Al-Ahqaf is also the seventh and the last one out of the Seven Surahs of the Quran. The seven Surahs are - Surah Ghafir, Surah Fussilat, Surah Ash-Shura, Surah Az-Zukhruf and Surah Ad-Dukhan, Surah Al-Jathiya and Surah Al-Ahqaf. All the Surahs, including Surah Al-Ahqaf are Meccan Surahs. It discusses warnings to the disbelievers and that God will bring punishment to the ones who rejects the God's Messengers and advices."
