This wonderful drama song was written by the very famous Malayalam poet and lyricist from Kerala named O.N.V. Kurup. He received the awards Padma Shri in 1998 and Padma Vibhushan in 2011, the fourth and second highest civilian honours from the government of India. The drama song which begins with “Aakasame Neelakasame” was from the play “Deepthi.” This drama song was composed the very popular Indian composer, M.K. Arjunan.
ഈ അത്ഭുതകരമായ നാടകഗാനം എഴുതിയത് കേരളത്തിലെ പ്രശസ്തനായ മലയാള കവിയും ഗാനരചയിതാവുമായ ഒ.എൻ.വി. കുറുപ്പാണ്. 1998-ൽ പത്മശ്രീ, 2011-ൽ പത്മവിഭൂഷൺ എന്നീ ബഹുമതികൾ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ലഭിച്ചു, ഇത് ഇന്ത്യാ ഗവൺമെന്റിന്റെ നാലാമത്തെയും രണ്ടാമത്തെയും ഉയർന്ന സിവിലിയൻ ബഹുമതികളാണ്."ആകാശമേ നീലാകാശമേ" എന്നു തുടങ്ങുന്ന നാടകഗാനം"ദീപ്തി" എന്ന നാടകത്തിലെതായിരുന്നു. ഈ നാടകഗാനം രചിച്ചത് വളരെ പ്രശസ്തനായ ഇന്ത്യൻ സംഗീതസംവിധായകനായ എം.കെ. അർജുനനാണ്.
