Agni nadi is an Indian Malayalam-language book. It is the translated version of the book Aag ka Dharya, which was originally written in Urdu language in the year 1958 by Qurratulain Hyder. It is predominantly a historical novel which describes the events happened due to partition of the Indian subcontinent into two lands: India and Pakistan. It is regarded as one of the best known novels of the Indian subcontinent. This book has also been translated to English in the year 1998, with the title “River of Fire”.
അഗ്നി നദി ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ മലയാളം ഭാഷാ പുസ്തകമാണ്. 1958-ൽ ഖുറത്തുലൈൻ ഹൈദർ ഉറുദു ഭാഷയിൽ എഴുതിയ ആഗ് കാ ധര്യ എന്ന പുസ്തകത്തിന്റെ വിവർത്തന പതിപ്പാണിത്. ഇന്ത്യൻ ഉപഭൂഖണ്ഡത്തെ രണ്ട് ഭൂഖണ്ഡങ്ങളായി വിഭജിച്ചതിനെ തുടർന്ന് നടന്ന സംഭവങ്ങളെ വിവരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ചരിത്ര നോവലാണിത്: ഇന്ത്യയും പാകിസ്ഥാനും. ഇന്ത്യൻ ഉപഭൂഖണ്ഡത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന നോവലുകളിലൊന്നായി ഇത് കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ഈ പുസ്തകം 1998-ൽ ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലേക്കും “റിവർ ഓഫ് ഫയർ” എന്ന പേരിൽ വിവർത്തനം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.
