The song from the movie "Theekkadal" released in 1980 is "Adichangu Poosai Kudichinnu Varai Aa ..". The song is composed by Guna Singh with lyrics by Bichu Thirumala. The song was sung by Dr. KJ Yesudas. Fazil wrote the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. The film is produced and directed by Navodaya Appachan under the banner of Navodaya Films. Prem Nazir, Madhu, Sukumaran and Ratheesh played the lead roles in the film.
1980 ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ "തീക്കടൽ" എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനമാണ് "അടിച്ചങ്ങു പൂസായി കുടിച്ചിന്നു വാറായി ആ..". ബിച്ചു തിരുമലയുടെ വരികൾക്ക് ഗുണ സിംഗ് ആണ് ഈ ഗാനത്തിന് ഈണം പകർന്നത്. ഡോ.കെ.ജെ.യേശുദാസ് ആണ് ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത്. ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന് കഥ,തിരക്കഥ,സംഭാഷണം എന്നിവ നിർവഹിച്ചത് ഫാസിൽ ആണ്. നവോദയ ഫിലിംസിന്റെ ബാനറിൽ നവോദയ അപ്പച്ചനാണ് ഈ ചിത്രം നിർമ്മിച്ചതും സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തതും. പ്രേം നസീർ,മധു,സുകുമാരൻ,രതീഷ് എന്നിവർ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ മുഘ്യ വേഷങ്ങളിൽ എത്തി.
