An accounting manager plays an important role in the financial or accounts department. An individual working as the accounting manager is responsible for monitoring each and all proceedings and functions within the accounting department. Not only are they responsible for every proceeding within, in and out of the department but for also the individuals working in the department as well. They are to prepare reports, assign tasks to every member in the department and deliver financial statements and records. Accounting managers are not only responsible for themselves but also for the smooth functioning of the entire team. They must coordinate, communicate, deliver and act as a link between each and every member. A certain set of soft skills, such as good communication skills, good observation capacity and patience are also much desired in the individual.
