The song "Aayiram villodinju aaromana" is a song from the movie Akkarapacha. K J Yesudas and P Madhuri who has twice won Kerala State Film Award for best playback singer were the singers of this song. M. M. Nesan directed and produced Akkarapacha, a 1972 Indian Malayalam film, which was produced by M. M. Nesan/Sukumaran. Sathyan, Jayabharathi, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, and Sunil play the key roles in the film. Vayalar Ramavarma wrote the lyrics and G. Devarajan composed the music with the Raga Mohanam. Oriental music is defined by this raga. This raga can convey a wide range of emotions such as Sringara, Karunya, and others. Raga Mohanam is a very attractive and fascinating pentatonic scale that catches the imagination of every listener, and is well titled for its beauty.
ആയിരം വില്ലൊടിഞ്ഞു ആരോമന എന്ന ഗാനം അക്കരപ്പച്ച എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനമാണ്. കെ ജെ യേശുദാസും മികച്ച പിന്നണി ഗായികയ്ക്കുള്ള കേരള സംസ്ഥാന ചലച്ചിത്ര അവാർഡ് രണ്ടുതവണ നേടിയിട്ടുള്ള പി മാധുരിയും ആയിരുന്നു ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ ഗായകർ. എം.എം നേശൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുകയും നിർമ്മിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു, 1972-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ മലയാളം ചലച്ചിത്രമാണ് അക്കരപച്ച. എം. സത്യൻ, ജയഭാരതി, കവിയൂർ പൊന്നമ്മ, സുനിൽ എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. വയലാർ രാമവർമ വരികൾ എഴുതി ജി.ദേവരാജൻ രാഗമോഹനത്തിൽ സംഗീതം പകർന്നു. ഓറിയന്റൽ സംഗീതത്തെ ഈ രാഗം നിർവചിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഈ രാഗത്തിന് ശൃംഗാര, കാരുണ്യ, തുടങ്ങിയ നിരവധി വികാരങ്ങൾ അറിയിക്കാൻ കഴിയും. ഓരോ ശ്രോതാവിന്റെയും ഭാവനയെ ആകർഷിക്കുന്ന വളരെ ആകർഷകമായ പെന്ററ്റോണിക് സ്കെയിലാണ് രാഗ മോഹനം, അതിന്റെ സൗന്ദര്യത്തിന് പേരുകേട്ടതാണ്.
