1982-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ "അമൃതഗീതം" എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനമാണ് ഈ ഗാനം. ബേബി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ഈ ചിത്രം നിർമ്മിച്ചത് ശിവൻ കുന്നമ്പിള്ളിയും തിരക്കഥയെഴുതിയത് പുഷ്പാനന്ദും ആണ്. "ആയിരം മുഖമുള്ള സൂര്യൻ" എന്ന് തുടങ്ങുന്ന ഗാനം രചിച്ചത് വളരെ പ്രശസ്ത ദക്ഷിണേന്ത്യൻ സംഗീതസംവിധായകൻ ജി. ദേവരാജനും വരികൾ എഴുതിയത് മുല്ലനേഴിയുമാണ്. ഈ ഗാനം പി. സുശീല മനോഹരമായി ആലപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
