2003 ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ "പട്ടാളം" എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനമാണ് "ആലിലക്കാവിലെ തെന്നലേ നിന്നെ ഞാൻ". ഗിരീഷ് പുത്തഞ്ചേരി വരികൾ എഴുതി വിദ്യാസാഗർ സംഗീതം നൽകിയ ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് പി.ജയചന്ദ്രനും സുജാത മോഹനും ചേർന്നാണ്. മൂവി ക്ഷേത്രയുടെ ബാനറിൽ മഹാസുബൈറും സുധീറും ചേർന്നാണ് ഈ ചിത്രം നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന് കഥയും തിരക്കഥയും സംഭാഷണവും നിർവഹിച്ചത് രജി നായർ ആണ്. ലാൽ ജോസ് ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തു. മമ്മൂട്ടി മേജർ പട്ടാഭിരാമൻ എന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു.
