“Aadyachumbanam Amruthachumbanam” from the movie Amruthachumbanam was sung by P Jayachandran, who is popularly known as Bhavagayakan. This was beautifully written by Yusafali Kecheri and composed by G Devarajan. It was released in the year 1979. This movie was directed by P Venu. Screenplay was done by Chembil John. Seema, M G Soman, Bahadoor, Vidhubala, Raghavan, Aranmula Ponnamma were the actors who did the lead character roles in this movie. Seema won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress in 1984 and in 1985.
ഭാവഗായകൻ എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന പി ജയചന്ദ്രനാണ് അമൃതചുംബനം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ “ആദ്യചുംബനം അമൃതചുംബനം” പാടിയത്. യൂസഫലി കേച്ചേരി മനോഹരമായി എഴുതി ജി ദേവരാജൻ ഈണം പകർന്നു. 1979 ലാണ് ഇത് പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയത്. പി വേണു ആണ് ഈ ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത്. ചെമ്പിൽ ജോണാണ് തിരക്കഥ. സീമ, എം ജി സോമൻ, ബഹദൂർ, വിധുബാല, രാഘവൻ, ആറന്മുള പൊന്നമ്മ തുടങ്ങിയവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്. 1984 ലും 1985 ലും മികച്ച നടിക്കുള്ള കേരള സംസ്ഥാന ചലച്ചിത്ര അവാർഡ് സീമ നേടി.
