The song "Aadi Vaa Katte" is from the movie Koodevide which is a 1983 Malayalam drama film, written and directed by P. Padmarajan. It was sung by S Janaki. Sistla Janaki is an Andhra Pradesh-based playback vocalist and occasional song composer. She is lovingly referred to as "Janaki Amma" and "South Indian Nightingale." The music was composed by Johnson and its lyrics are written by O N V Kurup. Mammootty, Suhasini, and Rahman appear in the film. The plot is loosely based on Vasanthi's Tamil novel. Rahman made his acting debut in this film. Rahman won Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actor, Sukumari won Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress. This film also won Kerala state film award for Best Film with Popular Appeal and Aesthetic Value.
"ആടി വാ കാറ്റേ" എന്ന ഗാനം 1983-ൽ പി. പത്മരാജൻ രചനയും സംവിധാനവും നിർവ്വഹിച്ച മലയാള നാടക ചലച്ചിത്രമായ 'കൂടെവിടെ' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനമാണ്. എസ് ജാനകിയാണ് ഈ ഗാനം പാടിയത്. ജോൺസണാണ് സംഗീതം പകർന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്, ഒ എൻ വി കുറുപ്പാണ് വരികൾ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. മമ്മൂട്ടി, സുഹാസിനി, റഹ്മാൻ എന്നിവർ ചിത്രത്തിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നു. റഹ്മാൻ ആദ്യമായി അഭിനയിച്ചത് ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെയാണ്. റഹ്മാൻ മികച്ച രണ്ടാമത്തെ നടനുള്ള കേരള സംസ്ഥാന ചലച്ചിത്ര അവാർഡും സുകുമാരി മികച്ച രണ്ടാമത്തെ നടിക്കുള്ള കേരള സംസ്ഥാന ചലച്ചിത്ര അവാർഡും നേടി. ഈ ചിത്രം പോപ്പുലർ അപ്പീലും സൗന്ദര്യാത്മക മൂല്യവുമുള്ള മികച്ച ചിത്രത്തിനുള്ള കേരള സംസ്ഥാന ചലച്ചിത്ര അവാർഡും നേടി.
