To think that the future is still far away is to forget that tomorrow is already the future and we will be living it as soon as we open our eyes at dawn. 5G is the 5th generation mobile network. 5G enables a new kind of network that is designed to connect virtually everyone and everything together including machines, objects, and devices. 5G wireless technology is meant to deliver higher peak data speeds, ultra-low latency, more reliability, massive network capacity, increased availability and a more uniform user experience to more users. 5G operates in the same way, but uses higher radio frequencies that are less messy. This allows for it to carry more information at a much faster rate. The technology has several disadvantages like risks in security, proper data handling, insufficient infrastructure, technological exclusion and so on. 5G is a reality that in a short time will touch our lives like previous technologies and it would be better to look at it now to take advantage of its benefits and avoid its risks.
