This letter is an urgent plea to fulfill all of Christ's commandments, saying that obedience to His commands displays our love for Him. A part of this short letter is separated to warn against antichrist deceivers. He ends with his longing to meet them. Key verse from 2 John: (6) And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.
